Tom Wallis is a founding shareholder of Ingram, Wallis & Company, P.C.  Tom has extensive experience working with governmental units and privately-held enterprises.  In addition, his expertise includes estates, gifts, and trusts.

Prior to founding Ingram, Wallis & Company, P.C., Tom was employed by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) and Durst, Wood & Ingram through 1979.

Tom received both Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Texas A&M University.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, The Texas Society of CPA’s (T.S.C.P.A.), and the Brazos Valley Chapter of CPAs.  Tom’s community and professional service includes current or past service as president of the Brazos Valley Chapter of CPA’s, Brazos County Industrial Foundation, Inc. and St. Joseph Foundation.  Tom recently stepped down as chairman of the T.S.C.P.A. Ethics Committee, a committee on which he served the profession for over 20 years.

Tom and his wife Annette have three children:  Robert Wallis, CPA with a public company in Houston, Deann Schultz, PhD, scientific research, and Michelle Hurst, a high school science teacher. Tom retired from practice in December, 2019.
